UP-VSB regains championship in the 20th FINEX Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition

The UP Cesar E.A. Virata School of Business (UP-VSB) team composed of 5th year BSBAA students, Adrian Jericson Jimenez, Raphael Don Tantan, Allan Tripon Jr. and Kelvin Derick Yu won first place in the 20th Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition (ICFC) sponsored by the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX).

The top 21 Philippine schools from the elimination round in October competed with two teams from the University of Guam in the finals held at the auditorium of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in Manila on November 23, 2018. This is UP-VSB’s 11th Championship win during the ICFC’s 20-year run. UP-VSB Instructor Mr. Ramon Carlo Pio Roda is the Manager of the Champion Team.

The competition was joined this year by 99 Philippine universities and colleges and the University of Guam.
